Two Thieves Hit Auto Wrecking Yard

Two thieves attempted to steal used car parts from a Turlock wrecking yard, but were unable to take anything early Tuesday.

According to Turlock Police Department spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis, police responded to Kelso’s Auto Wrecking and Towing in the 500 block of South Walnut Road on a report of a burglary in process at 2:28 a.m.

Two unknown suspects were seen moving used radiators to a perimeter fence in preparation to steal.

Once police arrived on scene, they extensively searched the wrecking yard and neighboring area but were unable to find the suspects.

Nothing has been reported as stolen at this time.

    Did they check the yard for any fresh mounds of dirt about 6 feet long? If they do, don't bother looking under the dirt, it aint worth the trouble.
