The Stanislaus County Library announced a program this month that encourages children ages four to 12 to read by providing incentives for every five books they complete.

The program, Cover to Cover, has already begun and will continue to run through April 12. Children who read five books at their reading level will earn a certificate for a free hamburger or cheeseburger from In-N-Out Burger.

Participants will receive a reading log to fill out to keep track of books completed. Each participant is limited to three certificates, while supplies last.

Those looking to participate can sign up at any Stanislaus County Library branch, including the Turlock Library located downtown at 550 N. Minaret Ave.
