Authorities seized more than 3,500 marijuana plants and arrested one Turlock man last week, after serving a search warrant in a power theft investigation.
The Stanislaus County Drug Enforcement Agency served the search warrant to a residence in the 1900 block of W. Glenwood Avenue on March 19, after receiving information of ongoing power theft.
SDEA agents located more than 3,000 small marijuana plants in the home, along with a stolen shotgun and a high capacity handgun.
While searching two other buildings on the property, authorities discovered more than 550 mature marijuana plants. The estimated street value of the mature plants is more than $500,000, according to authorities.
Calvin Anderson Agar, 29, was arrested for possession of marijuana for sales, power theft, grand theft and possession of stolen property.
