A patron was attacked with a weapon at a Turlock bar on Friday, but was able to walk away from the incident with only minor injuries.
Turlock police responded to Staley’s Club, located at 426 E. Main St., around midnight Friday night after a bar employee called in to report a disturbance.
A victim was attacked by another bar patron for an unknown reason following an argument.
The victim was cut with an unknown weapon, but only suffered minor, non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital, said Turlock police spokesperson Sgt. Stephen Webb.
The assailant fled the scene, but was located down the street by officers. The suspect was identified by several witnesses at the time.
Guadalupe Munoz, 26, was arrested and booked into Stanislaus County Jail on charges of assault with a deadly weapon.
The exact nature of the victim’s injuries are unknown at this time.
Glad the victim was able to walk away. My friend was not so lucky after being stabbed multiple times while at Stayley’s 9 years ago. He cannot see, cannot walk, eats through a feeding tube and has difficulty talking and doing many things most take for granted. He is more of a man than the owner of this bar who allows these things to happen at his establishment. Spend your money elsewhere.
Sounds like your friend is more of a vegetable than a man.
