When thinking of classic cars, one tends to think of Chevelles, Novas, or Mustangs right off the bat.

However, Turlock’s Jonathan George is looking to put the Chevrolet Corvair on everyone’s minds with his gold ‘66.

The Corvair was only made from 1959-1969. It was incredibly popular at the start of the 60’s, but sales eventually dropped. The ‘66 model marked the start of a steady decline of production, with Chevrolet producing fewer than half as many as in the previous year.

Now, that makes this gold Corvair that much more rare.
