The Stanislaus County Fair is up against some of the largest companies in the world as a finalist in PR News’ Social Media Icon Awards.
The Stanislaus County Fair is a finalist in the “Twitter: Marketing Campaign” category, alongside top companies including Delta Air Lines, T-Mobile, Big Fuel, and USO.
While the other top companies are finalists due to campaigns run by hired companies that specialize in social media, the Stanislaus County Fair is a finalist for the campaign they run themselves.
“It is an honor to be a finalist among all these powerful companies for the second year in a row,” said Chris Borovansky, Chief Executive Officer for the Stanislaus County Fair. “I am proud of our marketing team for their hard work and innovative thinking.”
The Stanislaus County Fair was a finalist in the same category at the 2013 PR News’ Social Media Icon Awards.
The Social Media Icon Award Luncheon will be held on June 2 in New York City at The Grand Hyatt. The luncheon will honor the winners.
