A Turlock man was arrested early on Saturday after he allegedly struck two women with a stick at party he was asked to leave. The man allegedly fled the party, and was later stopped by police.
The suspect, Stephen Montgomery, 22, went to the residence of his ex-girlfriend in the 2400 block of Cambridge Court, where there was a gathering occurring.
Montgomery was reportedly not getting along with other partygoers and was asked to leave.
At that time, he allegedly used a wooden stick to strike his ex-girlfriend in the leg. Montgomery then allegedly struck another woman over the head with the stick.
It is unknown if any serious injuries were sustained from the assaults.
Montgomery fled from the party in a vehicle. He was later spotted traveling southbound on Highway 99.
Authorities stopped the suspect and he was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.
