Covenant Village of Turlock is showing their support in "painting the town purple" with these purple ribbons out front. As shown in an Around Turlock earlier this week, multiple areas of the city are decorated with purple, including downtown.

The ribbons help raise awareness for cancer research and support. Many colors are specific to different kinds of cancer awareness, but purple generally represents all forms of cancer.
