Police arrested a suspect who allegedly returned to Donnelly Park armed with a dirk or dagger following an earlier altercation at the park on Wednesday afternoon.

Angel Banderas, 22, was arrested and booked for felony possession of a dirk or dagger.

Banderas was allegedly involved in a physical altercation around 2:44 p.m. Wednesday at Donnelly Park, said Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.

Turlock police responded to a call of a disturbance at the park involving several males, said Lewis.

Banderas was later located by police when he allegedly returned to Donnelly Park armed with dirk or dagger, following the original altercation, said Lewis.
