The City of Turlock and Turlock Scavenger Company are partnering to host “Take Pride in Turlock” on Saturday, where residents may freely dispose of their trash.

From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Turlock residents can bring their trash to be disposed of at the Turlock Transfer Station, located at 1100 S. Walnut Rd.

To take advantage of the free trash disposal, residents must bring their April 2014 City of Turlock utility bill and a picture ID with a Turlock address. Turlock Irrigation District, PG&E, and phone bills will not be accepted.

No more than one load of household debris will be accepted, and no vehicle loads larger than a pickup truck will be accepted. No sealed gas cylinders (propane, oxygen, etc.), no more than 9 tires, and no treated wood will be accepted.

If you live in Turlock, which this is whom the free dump day is intended for; it is in your water/sewer bill
