Platinum recording artists Banda Machos are the latest addition to the Stanislaus County Fair’s 2014 lineup.

“Banda Machos has been touring around the world for many years now,” said Adrenna
Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. “They are well known for their unique
sound and have an international fan base.”

Banda Machos, also known as “La Reina de las Bandas,” was founded in Villa Corona, Jalisco, Mexico in 1990. The group melds Banda, Quebradita, and Ranchera music, and is considered to be the creator of the Quebradita style.

Banda Machos has built a Mexican fanbase into worldwide popularity, earning numerous awards and charting No. 1 singles and platinum albums. The group’s hits include “No Hay Problema,” “Sangre De Indio,” and “Al Gato y El Raton.”
