The local community has come to the aid of the family of two sisters who were shot and killed Friday night in Merced County.

The sisters, Lisa Dennis-Robbins and Ronda Cupit-Hiatt, were shot and killed at a residence south of Turlock on the 11100 block of Lander Avenue shortly before 8 p.m. on Friday.

The family has now set up a Go Fund Me campaign to help raise money for the memorial services of the two victims.

The donations have been pouring in, with the campaign raising nearly $2,000 as of Sunday morning.
