Turlock’s newest Mexican restaurant held its grand opening Saturday, but it wasn’t the long awaited Memo’s Cocina.
Mary’s Taqueria, located at 218 W. Olive Ave., has everything you’d expect from a Turlock taqueria, and even serve menudo and pozole on the weekends.
The new taqueria is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Breakfast is served until 11 a.m.

Just what turlock needs more Mexicans
Your comment is uncalled for and just rude! Some of the best people you will know might just be Mexican. What Turlock doesn’t need is YOU! There is good and bad in every culture, we need to embrace the good, tolerate the legal bad, and not harbor ill will toward anyone just for the sake of they are different.
Carl you are not from the west coast are you. You don’t deal with Mexicans very often. You must live in legends gated community. When your home is broken into just tolerate it. You sound like a huge (*edited by tcn). More like a blue taco. You make me sick.
