A 3-year-old boy was airlifted to a nearby hospital Thursday night after he fell from the window of a two-story residence.

According to Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis, the 3-year-old boy was standing on a couch next to a second-story window at a residence on the 3800 block of Vitrina Court at around 9:09 p.m.

The boy allegedly leaned against the window screen to look outside after hearing some dogs barking, Lewis said.

While leaning against the screen, the boy allegedly fell out of the second-story window, and into the backyard, according to Lewis.
