Turlock police arrested a female Thursday night on multiple drug charges, after spending a prolonged amount of time in the Walgreens bathroom.
Officers responded to Walgreens, located at 1591 Geer Rd., at 6:53 p.m. to contact a woman who was allegedly in the bathroom for an “extended period of time” and was possibly intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
Upon arrival, officers contacted Arika Avila, 26. They allegedly found that she was in possession of heroin, methamphetamine, and Xanax.
Turlock police officers also allegedly found that Avila had two drug-related felony warrants.
Avila was arrested and booked for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as the existing warrants.
