This large branch was seen broken off a tree at Summerfaire Park, located at 1350 Fulkerth Rd.

Turlock’s trees often lose branches during the stormy winter months, but there’s been nothing but sun lately. This may be attributed to wind, or more human causes.

When tree branches break during hot weather months with no heavy wind, it's often referred to as sudden branch drop.
