Two local eateries are hosting fundraisers on Tuesday and Wednesday that will benefit the Turlock Gospel Mission.
It’s July in Turlock and temperatures are expected to get into the triple-digits today, so go ahead and treat yourself to an ice cream at Cold Stone Creamery for a good cause.
Today, July 8, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Turlock’s Cold Stone Creamery, located at 2866 W. Monte Vista Ave., will donate 25 percent of proceeds to the Turlock Gospel Mission and their ongoing mission to help the homeless and hurting with shelter and services. Please print out the flier here and present it at the time of purchase.
If you’re not in the mood for ice cream, there’s another option to help Turlock Gospel Mission. On Wednesday, July 9, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Angelini’s, located at 2551 Geer Rd., will donate 30 percent of proceeds from orders of their famous spaghetti to the Turlock Gospel Mission; 20 percent of proceeds from all other menu items will be donated.
