Drunk Driver Runs into Construction Zone, Abandons Vehicle

Turlock police arrested a drunk driver just after midnight on Sunday after he ran his vehicle into a construction zone.

Cisneros-Vieyra was allegedly driving near the intersection of East Monte Vista and Colorado avenues when he ran off the road and into a construction zone, according to the Turlock Police Department.

After running off the road, Cisneros-Vieyra allegedly abandoned his vehicle and fled the scene.

Turlock police later located the suspect walking away from the scene near the intersection of North Olive and East Minnesota avenues, said Turlock police spokesperson Sgt. Stephen Webb.

Cisneros-Vieyra was arrested for drunk driving.
