The Stanislaus County Library continues to expand its collection of electronic resources, including children’s eBooks, access to online database, and eMagazines.

What was already a growing selection of eBooks available at the Stanislaus County Library, children’s eBooks have now been added.

The library also provides access to databases with eBooks with information on a wide range of topics and reader interest, including car repair, biographies, and pro and con arguments on current issues.

Another new offering is the library’s eMagazine selection, which now includes access to 51 digital selections 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The popular list of magazines is free to library customers, who have the option to download the magazine to a mobile device or tablet, or stream the magazine online to a computer through the library’s subscription to Zinio. Some magazines also include features such as video, audio, and live links. There is no limit to the number of magazines that may be checked out, and customers may keep the digital magazines indefinitely.

For more information on the expanded eBook and eMagazine offerings, visit StanislausLibrary.org or your local Stanislaus County Library branch.
