Day two of the Turlock Lions Destruction Derby at the Stanislaus County Fair featured behemoth motor homes squaring off in the FoodMaxx Arena, much to the delight of the thousands of spectators.

Motor homes smashed, crashed, and dashed around the arena, with the risk of flipping on every sharp turn. Eventually, a motor home fell victim and flipped. By the end of the heat, the area was littered with bits and pieces of motor home.

Hilmar’s Kurtis Van Foeren, of Hilmar, took home the biggest prize of the night in the motor homes heat, earning $2,500, followed by Turlock residents Troy Lean, $1,000, and Eddie Dixon, $500.
