A man is facing drug charges after Turlock police allegedly found him in illegal possession of prescription pills on Monday afternoon, while he was out on bail.
Officers responded to the 1100 block of Pedras Road at approximately 12:15 p.m. on the report of a verbal disturbance.
According to Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis, officers contacted Charles Delp, 41, who was allegedly involved in the verbal disturbance with the reporting party.
Officers conducted a consent search of Delp’s home and allegedly located prescription medication that he was illegally in possession of, said Lewis.
Delp was out on bail for a domestic violence incident, where he allegedly kept a victim locked in his vehicle following a dispute.
Delp was arrested and booked for illegal possession of prescription medication and violation of his bail agreement.
