Modesto police are looking for two suspects, one a Turlock man, linked to a home invasion of a Modesto home that occurred on Monday.
Two male suspects have been identified as Richard White, 38, of Turlock and Daniel Reagan, 27, of Oakdale. Both are wanted for home invasion and carjacking.
At approximately 6:30 a.m. on Monday, a third suspect, who is now in custody, identified as Maureen Buchanan, 31, visited the victim’s home on the 2800 block of Stoneridge Drive in Modesto.
A short time after she got inside the home, there was a knock at the door and Buchanan allegedly let two males wearing masks and armed with a gun inside the residence while the homeowner was still inside. The suspects then allegedly ransacked the home as they repeatedly asked the victim for money, according to a release from the Modesto Police Department.
During the incident, the victim was allegedly struck in the head with a gun, according to the Modesto Police Department.
One of the male suspects left with Buchanan in one of the victim’s trucks, which had been parked in the garage. The other male left in a 2000-2001 dark blue Chevrolet truck with a white camper shell.
Buchanan was later identified and arrested after an officer recognized her from a photo provided by the victim. She was arrested for home invasion, robbery, carjacking, and conspiracy.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of White and Reagan are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 209-521-4636. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
