It’s time for some turtle power… Cupcake Lady style.
In anticipation of the Aug. 8 release of Nickelodeon Movies’ “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” Turlock’s The Cupcake Lady, Troyce Fraga, is designing a TMNT cupcake for what is sure to be a bestseller.
Her husband and cupcake confidant/partner Steve Fraga said he must give credit to her for the idea.
“She’s the brains behind the creative genius and always comes up with the best designs,” he said.
Steve Fraga said he expects to sell six to eight dozen cupcakes featuring the likes of Michelangelo, Raphael, Leonardo and Donatello.
In the past Troyce Fraga has created cupcakes featuring Spiderman, Olaf from Disney’s Frozen and of course, Minions from Despicable Me.
“We were selling the Minions for like three months so who knows how long the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will sell,” said Steve Fraga. “They are an iconic image for kids and parents in their 30s.”
The Cupcake Lady is now taking pre-orders for the TMNT cupcakes for $3 each. The cupcakes will be available Friday, Aug. 8 to Sunday, Aug. 10, however it is likely they stick around awhile.

Why is this even a story?! Over priced and dry cupcakes along with horrible, stuck up customer service. Ugh I hope this commercial for their business was paid for by them!
Pretty genius to come up with a design of a Ninja Turtle cupcake. Maybe she could sell the idea to a movie studio, so they could make a movie about ninja turtles
I laugh whenever i see the husband driving the ‘pink’ cupcake lady van. Anyways, $3.00 is bargain for the hershey squirts. Last time i ate one i got the diarrhea so bad, i had to swear off cupcakes and chipotle for a month. Next they’ll be selling marijuanna brownies and ginger snaps laced with molly
