The Turlock Rural Fire Department extinguished a barn fire at a farm near the intersection of South Washington and Idaho roads on Saturday morning.
Fire crews responded at approximately 11:25 a.m., and arrived to a chicken barn that had been engulfed in flames.
The fire was contained by members of the Turlock Rural Fire Department before noon.
The barn showed extensive damage to its front, but overall appears to still be structurally sound.
Members of the Turlock Irrigation District were also on scene investigating utility poles on the farm and electrical wires in the barn.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
No injuries have been reported.
