After a long, hot week in Turlock, even John Mitchell, Turlock’s founder, apparently decided to pull out something a little cooler from his closet.

A prankster placed this white tank top on the statue of Mitchell, which stands in Central Park on the corner of Golden State Boulevard and East Main Street.

At least said prankster wasn’t Bart Simpson, and the head of Mitchell’s statue remains intact.

    I had seen that around 3:00 in I was about to take a picture a submit it myself but we had already passed by.
