Submitted/TurlockCityNews.com

During a summer day that was much cooler than average, many Turlockers took the opportunity to check out the Swanson-Centennial Dog Park.

The dog park, located in the southeast quadrant of the intersection of Tuolumne Road and Countryside Drive, has not officially opened, but Turlockers have been utilizing the park since the fence went up in July.

A ribbon cutting event is expected to be announced very soon.
