Kiara Bailey, celebrity hairstylist and Turlock native, will be featured on QVC this Friday for her hair charms called “Charmsies.”
Charmsies are iron-on hair charms that are easy to apply. QVC will be offering three color choices of Charmsies: silver, gold, and confetti, which has pink, light blue, white purple, and silver stars included.
Bailey, who has been a hairstylist for approximately 19 years, said she got the inspiration for Charmsies about two years ago after seeing nail charms in a store.
When she's not in Los Angeles, Bailey returns to Turlock and cuts hair at The Salon Push, located at 730 E. Main Street, which is owned by her mother Karla Chancellor. Bailey said she has been cutting hair with her mother since she was a 16-year-old high school student and went to Paul Mitchell before moving to Beverly Hills in 1999.
In 2004, Bailey was recruited for the reality show “Blow Out,” which ran for three seasons on Bravo. Bailey's portfolio on her website includes celebrities, including Barbra Streisand and Paula Abdul.
Charmsies will debut on Friday, Aug. 8 at 11 a.m. on QVC, while supplies last.
