U.S. Representative Jeff Denham (R-Turlock) already has signs posted for the upcoming Nov. 4 election on the corner of Monte Vista Avenue and Geer Road.
As election season moves forward, the corner tends to become cluttered with candidate signs. And with two Turlock Mayor candidates and five City Council candidates already filed, as well as candidates for the California 10th District and State Assembly 12th District seats, the corner should be more filled than ever.
In the state of California, temporary political signs are only allowed to be placed within 90 days of an election and must be removed within 10 days after that election, according to section 5405.3 of the State Outdoor Advertising Act. However, the City of Turlock requires signs be removed within five days after the election ending.

It’s too early to start seeing all these signs ugly up our town. I am voting for Denham even still.
Mr Denham is not a farmer, despite his campaign signs. He also voted to illegally shut down our government when he and his fellow Republicans were outvoted. When one party outnumbers the other it is a democracy.
