Turlock parents Amy and Monty Miller are currently looking for their missing daughter, Kaitlyn Miller, 13, who allegedly ran away from home last night. According to Lt. Miguel Pacheco of the Turlock Police Department, Kaitlyn is also known as Kaitlyn Riddle.
Kaitlyn’s family last saw her at approximately 9:30 p.m. Friday night, when she was in bed in her room. Around 4 a.m., the mother, Amy Miller, woke up to hear a baby in the home crying. Kaitlyn had gone to sleep with her niece in bed with her, but when Amy went in to go check on the crying baby, Kaitlyn was nowhere to be found. Amy explained that she thought Kaitlyn may have been in the bathroom, but after checking the bathrooms in the house and searching the rest of the home, they could not find her.
Turlock Police contacted the Millers to take a police report early this morning and now have a photo of Kaitlyn. At this time, TPD says factors point to Kaitlyn being a runaway.
Because she is not at-risk, TPD is not performing an active search, according to Lt. Pacheco, but they do encourage anyone with information on the missing girl to contact them at 209-668-1200. The parents, Amy and Monty Miller, can also be contacted at 209-602-5277 if anyone has information on Kaitlyn’s whereabouts.
