The summer heat couldn’t keep Turlockers from enjoying themselves at one of the many parks around Turlock.
Summerfaire Park, located on Fulkerth Road between Joett Drive and Soderquist Road, was filled with soccer practice participants and family activities.
The park is typically a popular place for local youth sports teams to practice.

At about 2:30pm Friday afternoon, Stanislaus County Sheriff’s and Turlock Police responded to an armed robbery that had just occurred at Primo Market in the 800 block of S. First Street.
At about 2:20pm Wednesday afternoon, Stanislaus County Sheriff’s and Turlock Police responded to a weapon offense that had just occurred at a residence in the 900 block of Kenwood Avenue, after several callers had reported hearing about 10 shots in the area.
