A Turlock female is facing robbery and drug charges after she allegedly stole a backpack while armed with a wrench on Wednesday evening.
Leilani Dixon, 43, was arrested and booked for robbery and possession of methamphetamine.
The victim of the robbery reported the incident to the Turlock Police Department and provided them with the name of the suspect.
According to the Turlock Police Department, Dixon, allegedly armed with a wrench, approached the victim at Quaile Rand Norton Park (formerly known as Sunnyview Park, which will soon receive its new sign) on the 500 block of Berkeley Avenue. Dixon allegedly threatened to hit the victim if she didn’t give up her backpack.
Once provided with Dixon’s name, officers responded to her residence on the 300 block of Minaret Avenue.
Officers located Dixon and allegedly found property belonging to the victim. A search also revealed that Dixon was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine.
