Probationer Found With Four Knives, Ammo at Almond Tree

A probationer was arrested at Almond Tree early Tuesday morning after being found with four concealed knives and ammunition.

Jorge Perez, 48, was allegedly causing a disturbance at approximately 3:14 a.m. at the Almond Tree at 2243 Lander Ave.

Officers arrived on scene and contacted Perez. During a search, officers found that Perez was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine, four concealed knives, and ammunition.

While attempting to apprehend Perez, a brief struggle ensued but he was eventually taken into custody.

According to the Turlock Police Department, Perez was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of concealed daggers, resisting arrest, a probation violation, and possession of ammunition.

    You see, cops didn’t over react and shoot him dead even though he had knives.
    I give Turlock PD lots of credit for the amount of BS they have to deal with in terms of society’s worst. Good to see a local police force handle matters with dignity.
