Central Park, located on the corner of East Main Street and Golden State Boulevard, is highly populated during the days, but not as much at night.
Signs posted around the park actually prohibit overnight stays or camping in the park, and say the park is only allowed to be used during the day.

At about 2:30pm Friday afternoon, Stanislaus County Sheriff’s and Turlock Police responded to an armed robbery that had just occurred at Primo Market in the 800 block of S. First Street.
At about 2:20pm Wednesday afternoon, Stanislaus County Sheriff’s and Turlock Police responded to a weapon offense that had just occurred at a residence in the 900 block of Kenwood Avenue, after several callers had reported hearing about 10 shots in the area.
