Suspect Arrested with Meth While Police Investigate Unrelated Crime

Police arrested a male subject in possession of methamphetamine while investigating an unrelated crime.

At approximately 2:11 p.m. on Wednesday, officers responded to the 600 block of Spruce Street to investigate a juvenile abuse case.

Through the course of the investigation, officers found that the abuse had been unfounded, according to Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.

However, while investigating that case, officers contacted Christopher Walton, 33, at the residence.

Walton was allegedly found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

He was arrested and booked, according to the Turlock Police Department.
