On Friday, the Turlock Police Department hosted a gang sweep along with the Modesto Police Department and California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), leading to the arrests of seven subjects.

Six officers from the Turlock Police Department, 10 from the Modesto Police Department, and two from the CDCR helped with the “Operation Summer Heat” gang sweep.

Officers visited several locations around Turlock and contacted several subjects.

In total, 28 subjects were contacted by authorities, with seven arrests being made, and two firearms confiscated, according to preliminary statistics from the Turlock Police Department.

Those arrested include: Mario Garandia, 20, who was arrested for possession of a loaded firearm that was not registered to him; Joseph Bonds, 25, who was arrested for possession of a loaded firearm and possession of a stolen firearm; Adam Rasmussen, 32, who was arrested for manufacturing hash; and Mario Perez, 19, was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant for weapons possession out of Tehama County.

On Friday morning, officers had a portion of Farr Street between Main Street and Columbia Avenue blocked off while they contacted a subject as part of the operation.

One of them is your uncle and he really isn’t a bad guy. Then you really dont know your uncle. Did you read the headlines GANG SWEEP how good are people in gang? They are no good drug addicts and LOSERS. That is not someone you want as a role model. If he was a good guy them why was he arrested. When one of your family members is killed by a gang member you will realize they are NOT GOOD people

The people trying to defend these criminals are their family, i understand youre upset your family was arrested but they shouldnt have had reasons to be arrested if they were such good people as you guys claim. They had illegal and stolen firearms, tell me what they were gonna do with them? Nothing good. They had warrants. What did they do to get them? Nothing good. One was making hash which he couldve done if he had a cannabis card but hes either not in need of one or too dumb to get one. I hope they get all the Gangsters out of the street because theyre low life jumpers, drive byers and rapists who keep their heads down when theyre alone but act tough when its 3 or more against 1.

    To “Don’t worry”

The rambling message you posted shows just what an ignorant P.O.S. s–t you are.
Go crawl back under the rock.
Keep up the hard work T.P.D. hopefully some new council members and a new city manager will properly fund your department and run this garbage out of this fine town.
