If you were unable to get a ticket to the sold out Sept. 20 Dancing with the Turlock Stars, TurlockCityNews.com has two solutions to help dance your cares away.
TurlockCityNews.com is giving away two tickets to the sold out event! Entering the giveaway is simple, just click here, leave a comment saying which dancing couple you think will dance well, and share the post on Facebook. The tickets will be given away Sept. 16, so act fast.
If you’re not lucky enough to win the tickets, the entire event, which benefits the Turlock Salvation Army, will be streamed live on TurlockCityNews.com by Central Valley TV at https://turlockcitynews.com/dancing-with-the-turlock-stars-live-stream. The live streaming addition to the event, provided by Central Valley TV, will now encourage online voting throughout the competition until just after the last dance.
Each vote is $10 and all proceeds will benefit the Turlock Salvation Army. All votes are considered donations and are tax deductible.
DWTTS Committee Chair Kristin Bettencourt said there will be two competition winners, the Star and Professional couple who receives the most votes will be awarded the “Mirror Ball Trophy” and the couple that impresses the judges the most will receive the “Judge’s Trophy.”
To date pre-dance voting is “neck and neck” between three couples. You can vote online at http://www.dancingwiththeturlockstars.com/apps/webstore/ or you can vote by purchasing a pink star at Village Fresh, Geiger’s Jewelers, Lisa’s Cookie Jar, Togo’s, Yonan’s Jewelers, Footnotes Dance Studio, Backstage Dance Studio or On Your Toes Dance in Hilmar.
Dancing with the Turlock Stars would like to thankTurlockCityNews.com, Pressert Marketing, Winton, Ireland, Strom & Green Insurance, PC Construction Group, Inc., Geiger’s Fine Jewelry, the Assyrian-American Civic Club, On Your Toes Dance Studio, Allen Mortuary, Turlock Memorial Park, Turlock Journal, Associated Feed, Luisa Nelle/PMZ, Garton Tractor, Salvation Army DHQ, and Jura's for their generous sponsorships.
