TurlockCityNews.com reader Amanda Moore submitted exclusive home surveillance video from her in-laws, Ken and Lisa Moore, who live on California Street. The video is the first to publicly surface of the mountain lion that is being tracked by Turlock Police and the California Department of Fish and Game with special dogs capable of following the scent of the lion.

Kill that Cat. Before it kills something one of us loves. Can we say over population. Dumb tree hugger’s.
I keep reading about this mountain lion running around at will. This thing should have been trapped or shot by now. Call in a professional tracker/trapper and get the job done.
Bad time to be a homeless person sleeping outside!
The cat has mauled a horse already. I will call people that protect them Tree (*edited by tcn). They are more concerned for the cat then human life. An 80 pound cat jumping out of a tree and people complain that it was shot. Who gives a (*edited by tcn). Sounds like we have several cats working the fields in turlock and every city in the valley. There are enough so lets just shoot them and move on. Thank you Have a nice day.
Justin are you positive that this cat is the same cat? If you are sure that it is how did you come to this conclusion did you ask it?
Hello Turlocker, I did get my lips real close to the kitty and it purred. Please use my full name when you address me.
I don’t wish harm on the cat or harm on anyone. I think what if there’s a child or toddler trying to walk on a playground and the mountain lion attacks. Then how would everyone respond. As a community we have to do what is right and in the best interest for the families and especially the children.
I’m very concerned about this mountain lion whereabouts. My son walks to the school bus and it makes me anxious and worry for him. Please catch it and take it back to where it belongs. Don’t hurt it.
i think we need to be sure this is a mountain lion and not another creature. we dont see mountian lions here so this may be some animal that has escaped or a new species. i dont think this is a mountain lion at all but may be a new species of animal that lives in turlock. if the police kill it they will hide the evidence and these animals may go around and kill even more animals. we need the police and everyone to think about this new rare animal and dont let them cover it up.
