Job Watch: Foster Farms Hiring for 11 Positions

Foster Farms is currently hiring for 11 positions through “The Graduate Trainee Program” for college graduates. The deadline to apply is Oct. 1 by 5 p.m.

Open positions include Accounting Trainee, Information Technology, Management Trainee for Plant Supervisor, Marketing Trainee, Plant Operations Trainee, Product Management Trainee, Purchasing Dept Trainee, Quality Control Trainee, SAP Functional Analyst, Service Center Analyst and Live Production Trainee.

All of the jobs require a Bachelor’s degree in applicable fields, excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Many of the trainee positions are one-year and lead to salaried positions.

New employees will spend a year learning all aspects of the departments and afterwards go into their specific area. The intent of the program is to orient new employees with the systems and processes currently used by Foster Farms and how they integrate with the day-to-day business operations.

    it takes a college degree to do what our grandparents did. really? a BA to work at foster farms? sounds like pretty simple job: you want chicken? we got chicken fer eatin.

    Well gosh dang it you mean nowadays you got to be a scholar to give the turkey house a hollar amazing didn’t know that most employed their even have a high school diploma

    The supervisors at Foster Farms don’t communicate with you they act like they are getting payed $20+ hr…anyways bad place to work i would get my lunch after 6 hrs on multiple occasions when i had to cover for absent co-workers they made me punch out to lunch come and come back to work…once i got lunch after 7 hrs and i got threatened if i went to lunch at my regular lunch time i would get written up

    The people who are commenting are stupid as hell. The jobs arent for line workers idiots! To be a line worker you dont even need a high school diploma or speak english you just need to not care that youre basically alwaus.going to work 10+ hour days, being paid minimun wage and about 11 dollars for time and a half; even though youre doing incredibly hard, physically demanding work. Foster farms is the worst plant ever.
