Around Turlock – September 23

Submitted/TurlockCityNews.com

During fall the leaves begin to brown and fall from the trees, but that is not the case here.

As pictured, only a stump remains for this tree that once stood in a Turlock neighborhood.

Though the City of Turlock may own trees in roadside easements, usually five feet from the sidewalk or 10 feet from the curb in areas with no sidewalk, it is the responsibility of homeowners to maintain those street trees. But replacing, treating, or pruning those trees requires a free City of Turlock Tree Permit.

  1. Confused says:

I have to take care of the tree’s but I need a fake permit to do so this must be how they justify some of the high salaries the city employees make.
