Turlock police arrested a male subject after he was caught going through multiple vehicles, at different locations, on Saturday afternoon.
Police received a report of a suspect rummaging through an unlocked vehicle on the 2800 block of Countryside Drive shortly before 4 p.m. on Saturday.
According to the Turlock Police Department, the victim allegedly caught the suspect rummaging through their unlocked vehicle.
The victim allegedly attempted to detain the suspect, but he was able to get away and flee in a vehicle.
Shortly after, the Turlock Police Department received a report of the same suspect allegedly going through a vehicle on the 3200 block of Countryside Drive.
Officers responded to the scene and were able to locate and apprehend the suspect.
Shane Tovar, 25, was arrested for petty theft, possession of stolen property, and possession of a stolen vehicle.
this man will go on to have 3 kids that he cant afford. all will be on welfare, EBT, section 8, medicare, and WIC and will have never worked a day in their life. Bravo…
