The Community Housing and Shelter Services (CHSS) of Stanislaus County is holding its Second Annual Bowl-a-Thon Friday, Oct. 24 from 6 to 9 p.m. at McHenry Bowl in Modesto.
Funds raised from the event will directly help families find stable homes to secure a better future and standard of living.
Teams of up to five people, which can include any combination of youth and adults, can compete.
No bowling skills are required — only a fun attitude and a willingness to help others through bowling.
“It’s a really fun family event and will help Stanislaus County families who are homeless or may be facing homelessness,” said CHSS Board President Kim Martinez.
Registration to get your bowling on is easy, just click on the attachment here, and then send in the form and check(s) for $35 for each team member. The fee includes two games of bowling and pizza.
Registration forms are due by Oct. 17.
If any business would like to donate to the CHSS raffle, contact Martinez at martinek@stancounty.com. All donations are tax deductible and the business will be advertised in the event program and on McHenry Bowl TC screens the day of the event.
