Traffic traveling northbound on Highway 99 between Bradbury Road and Lander Avenue is being directed through the Turlock rest stop due to a rollover accident.
The two vehicle collision was reported at 11:38 p.m. after a vehicle and big rig collided, causing the vehicle to roll on its side and catch fire, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Occupants in the vehicle were trapped for some time, with passersby attempting to pull the subjects from the vehicle at one point, according to CHP.
Three occupants have been extricated from the vehicle and the CHP is reporting that the occupants have suffered minor injuries.
CHP is reporting that Highway 99 will remain closed until tow trucks arrive. Highway 99 was closed as of 12:40 a.m.
