The new, controversial Taco Bell going in at 3606 N. Golden State Blvd. is now hiring for shift managers, assistant managers and restaurant general manager.
Franchisee, OCAT, Inc., will be hiring five to six management level employees.
OCAT, Inc. Human Resources Specialist Jennifer Diniz says crew positions will be hired 30 to 60 days before the Taco Bell opens and OCAT, Inc. is not hiring for those positions at this time since it has not yet been determined when the new Taco Bell will open.
Jobs descriptions vary between the three positions, however all require at least a high school diploma or GED and supervisory experience within the good service, retail, and customer service industry, including profit and loss responsibility. Other qualifications vary by management level but can include the ability to calculate and analyze data, basic business math and accounting skills and personal computer operations.
Primary responsibilities for the positions include maintaining fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, health and safety practices, ensuring food quality and customer satisfaction, recruiting and execution of corporate and local marketing plans.
The Taco Bell was approved by Turlock City Council in August after the appeals made by homeowners in the area filed appeals against the restaurant.
