With the reality of the City of Turlock banning food trucks in Downtown Turlock seeming imminent in March, more trucks have joined the Taco Bus on Canal Drive between Geer Road and Golden State Boulevard.
Last discussed at the March Planning Commission meeting, the ban of food trucks Downtown still awaits the final decision of Turlock City Council.

They’ll happily ban food trucks when this sad city desperately needs more eatery options, but do absolutely nothing to clear out the bums and riff raff of Turlock. Everything hip is banned in Turdlock and everything that sucks is given the green light. Yay come to Turlock, where hip ideas are banned and riff raff and hoboism is celebrated and in style. Let’s go steal some shopping carts and fill em with dumpster dived garbage after we hit the glass pipe everyone! Turlock loves that!
Dear Mr. McMillan – Romson’s Kebab truck has been parked in this lot since last spring. Much better food than City Council-backed McDonald’s and Taco Bell, which are adding new locations in town. We’ll see if new Council continues to thwart free market entrepreneurship outside downtown (coddled business) core.
