The man suspected of robbing a U.S. Bank in Turlock on Nov. 20 was arrested Monday following a tip from a citizen that helped identify the suspect.
Robert David Perez, 30, of Turlock, was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Jail.
On Nov. 20, the U.S. Bank, located at 427 E. Olive Ave., was robbed at approximately 4:15 p.m.
A male suspect entered the bank and demanded cash, then fled with an undisclosed amount of money, authorities said at the time of the robbery.
Based on a tip from a citizen and further investigation, detectives identified the suspect as Perez and obtained an arrest warrant, reports the Turlock Police Department.
On Monday, Perez attended a previously scheduled meeting with his probation officer at the Probation Office in Modesto, according to the Turlock Police Department. There he was placed under arrest for the warrant and booked in the jail.
