With Christmas just around the corner, Turlock has several destinations for those who want to experience the festive holiday season.
Possibly the most famous, Christmas Tree Lane, boasts a neighborhood full of houses bedecked in lights.
Christmas Tree Lane can be found off of either Berkeley Avenue or Tuolumne Road. Those entering the famous lane from Berkeley Avenue will turn onto Michael Way, with those coming from Tuolumne Road turning onto Wellerman Way.
Families can walk through Christmas Tree Lane — or drive if it gets too cold — to see the elaborate light shows and famous holiday characters.
Not to be outdone, Oxford Court featuring its Christmas Train is open each night for the public. Located off Minnesota Avenue on Oxford Avenue, the train runs from 6 to 9 p.m. each night through the week of Christmas.
Oxford Court is much more than just a train, however, Turlockers also get a neighborhood full of lights and you can drop off your donation to Turlock Together in the court.
For those looking for a unique Christmas light show, California Avenue may have a hidden gem tucked away.
Located off of Berkeley Avenue, California Avenue feature some of Turlock famous, trees covered in lights. California Avenue may be the most proper definition of a Turlock Christmas.
On the other side of the spectrum, Christmas on Sycamore has an exciting light show synchronized to music. Guests may also get the chance to meet Santa Claus at the house, located at 1441 Sycamore St.
Finally, Turlockers can take a quick trip to Downtown Turlock which is lined with Christmas lights and has the tree in Central Park currently lit.
Oxford Court not only features its famous train, but also a Christmas tree made of lights on the light post in the court.
California Avenue features lights adorning the large streets in this hidden gem.
