The three cases involve Jason Daniel Lara, 19, of Turlock, who was arrested in July 2013 after the sexual assault of a 43-year-old woman at Donnelly Park on July 5, 2013.
Around 5 a.m. the morning of the assault, the 43-year-old victim told police she was grabbed from behind while jogging at Donnelly Park. The suspect, who was 17 at the time, carried the victim several feet away to a secluded area of the park, where he got on top of her, held her down, and attempted to kiss her lips.
The victim was able to defend herself and get away from the assailant. After providing description, officers were able to locate and arrest the suspect, now identified as Lara.
Lara has been incarcerated since, however on Jan. 15 he was re-booked for an incident that occurred on Dec. 20, 2012.
On Dec. 20, 2012, around 11 p.m., Lara allegedly walked up to and grabbed a 58-year-old female victim from behind and sexually assaulted her on the 1900 block of Ashbury Court, according to Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.
