Turlock police arrested a male subject after he threw a cinder block during an altercation and causing injuries to the victim early in the morning of Jan. 25.

Pedro Vega, 27, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.

Officers responded to the 800 block of Geer Road at approximately 4:25 a.m. after an argument turned into a mutual fight.

According to Turlock police spokesperson Sgt. Stephen Webb, an argument ensued between Vega and the victim, eventually turning into a mutual fight.

Vega’s brothers joined in the fight and chased the victim, said Webb, adding that it appeared Vega was losing the fight.

At this time, Vega threw a cinder block and injured the victim.

The victim was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, said Webb.

Do most people know our new Mayor and several of his hench men are in the closet? Not that it matters to me, but I’m really wondering if all of the “church” people know? Would that have made a difference?

First of all you posted this under something that is not even related to your comment.
Even if it is true who really cares? And if the phonies that have a fish on their bumper to shout out that the are good Christian are upset about it, then what happened to love thy neighbor?

  5. No one special says:

People always pull the race card when things don’t go the way their way. How about don’t be a dirtbag and get in a fight and throw a cinder block? Have some accountability for your actions for once. The police aren’t racists. People that constantly use color as an attempt to deflect blame are racist. Grow up. You’re welcome.

  6. Well said, comment above. says:

I couldn’t agree more. All races should be held accountable. I have to say Obama has quietly done a good job getting this message out there. People are starting to realize the “race card” comments are fake and simply an easy excuse.
