The Silver Alert for the missing at-risk 71-year-old man has been lifted as he has returned home safely.
The Turlock Police Department received notification around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday that Carl Douglas Handy, 71, had returned home.
Officers contacted Douglas at the residence and confirmed that he was safe.
According to the Turlock Police Department, Douglas returned home on his own and there were no unusual circumstances involving his disappearance.
On Monday, Turlock police issued a Silver Alert for Douglas, who had not been seen or heard of since Feb. 26. He was considered to be at-risk by police, thus why the Silver Alert was issued.
