Sport Clips, a sports-themed barbershop geared toward men and boys, will be joining Monte Vista Crossings in a few short months.
The barbershop will be coming into the Monte Vista Crossings expansion at 2745 Countryside Dr., across from Dick’s Sporting Goods and next to the Buffalo Wild Wings currently under construction.
“We’re really excited to bring Sport Clips to Turlock,” said Matt Kneeland, CEO of Sport Clips.
Sport Clips, which has more than 1,300 store nationwide and is planning to open 12 locations in the Central Valley over the next three years, is a full haircutting service barbershop. Locations feature large high definition TVs around the store and in front of each of the stylists’ chairs. They’re also known for their “MVP Experience,” which includes a haircut, hot steamed towel, massaging shampoo, and neck and shoulder massage.
According to Kneeland, the Turlock Sport Clips location will open on approximately May 19 and will employ about 10 people.
The new barbershop will be joining Sprint, which opened on Feb. 13, and Deli Delicious; other tenants for the recently built parcels across from Dick’s Sporting Goods have not been announced, but are expected to open after May.
